About

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I enjoy working with individuals who are striving to heal themselves and improve their interpersonal relationships. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Behavior from the University of California, Irvine in 2010 and obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in 2015. My passion for counseling and serving others began when I worked as a peer counselor at my high school which inspired me to pursue a career in psychology and understand how trauma impacts our relationships. I hold a strong belief that early childhood experiences play a significant role in our beliefs, values, and how we relate to others as children, impacts how we relate as adults in our relationships. Therefore, in therapy, I strive to provide a supportive and compassionate environment to facilitate the exploration of early childhood experiences, and help clients make meaning of these experiences which allows for healing and growth. My approach in therapy is holistic in that we utilize all strengths of the individual so that they may achieve sustainable change. I provide services to all adult individuals, specializing in college age students, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Creating a safe, caring environment where people can work towards their goals is of the utmost importance to me. I look forward to getting to know you further.
