Hello!
I am a Licensed Professional Therapist in Wisconsin with over 6 years experience. I started my career working with adolescents and teens in a day treatment at a behavioral health hospital and the past three years I have been in a clinic serving a wide variety of ages with mental health challenges ranging from depression to schizophrenia. I enjoy helping individuals explore themselves and their past to gain insight into their future.

My counseling style is warm and energetic. I am extremely intuitive, straightforward, authentic, and down-to-earth. My clients appreciate my honesty, professionalism, sense of humor, and genuine concern for their well-being. I like my clients to take action and do give out "homework" for them to try out.

I enjoy learning and have attended many training's over the years such as Domestic Violence, Trauma Informed Care, motivational interviewing, and Ethics and Boundaries. I have also received extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Most recently, I was certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). I am constantly reading and listening to different podcasts to be able to recommend them to my clients as another source of growth for them while we aren't in session.

I believe in daily positive affirmations and continuous validation of my client’s feelings while working towards short-term, attainable goals while in treatment. Therapy happens outside of our sessions. While you are on your journey, I am here to help facilitate your growth. I look forward to learning with you!
