Hi my name is Maggie Quirk! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Ulster County, New York. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from The State University of New York at New Paltz. I then went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working in a clinic setting and in a private practice setting. I have a passion for making a difference in individual's lives and seeing the positive impact therapy can have.

I use an empathetic, non-judgmental, and client-centered approach. I utilize interventions from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I recognize the uniqueness of each client’s situation and tailor sessions to best fit their needs. We can work together to reach goals and face challenges. I have worked with individuals that are struggling with a wide variety of challenges. Majority of my experience has been working with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, social anxiety, and/or life transitions.

I recognize that it can be difficult to be vulnerable. I am willing to work with you in whatever platform you feel most comfortable.
