Hi My name is Margarita Donies and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have been working in the Mental Health and social services field for over 10 years. I attended Florida International University where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Nova Southeastern University where I earned a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling.

In my years of practice, I have worked with clients that suffer from multiple psychiatric disorders and life altering situations including but not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Grief and Loss. I have also worked with a range of populations: children - adults, homeless, inmates, dual diagnosis. However, I currently specialize in treating Adults utilizing Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused and Mindfulness Therapy.

I have also worked in a variety of settings leading me to obtain specialized knowledge of the Health Plan sector with a focus on Medicaid recipients and the public housing sector. I also have experience being the Clinical Director of a Community Mental Health Center prior to entering into private practice .
