Thank you for checking out my profile. I have been providing counseling for over eight years in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. I have a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and maintain a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling license and a Licensed Clinical Addiction's Specialist license. I have spent the bulk of my career working with both adult men and young adult men that struggled with various mood-related issues and substance use. Due to my own curiosities and personal practices I have adopted mindfulness-based strategies in my clinical work.

I was initially drawn to the counseling profession due to a background in philosophy and became interested in various applications of philosophy towards creating a flourishing life. My counseling style is one that is rooted in openness, curiosity, humor, and exploration of meaning. I enjoy helping clients develop techniques that can help them best optimize their own well-being and minimize the amount of suffering they experience.
