I have been working with individuals and groups within the social work and mental and physical health fields for over 20 years. The various settings I have been involved in over the years have afforded me the opportunity to focus on the whole person, their experiences, and where they would like to get to. My approach is looking at the strengths of an individual and working collaboratively with them to build upon those and strengthen the other areas toward solutions in their lives. My specialty and work is doing counseling/therapy for adolescents through adulthood with a strengths-based and solution-focused approach. I do individual, group, and couples counseling. I have experience and expertise working within many areas of mental health including depression, anxiety, stress, substance and alcohol abuse, and school-related issues. I believe in the solution-focused approach and working with you to figure out what needs to be focused on.
