I have been passionate about helping others since I was very young, and fifteen years ago, I discovered that I wanted to do more to help people. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience. I have worked in different settings, including a psychiatric hospital, a substance use agency, and other mental health outpatient clinics. This extensive training has provided me with the tools to assist people in healing trauma, which has been the heart of my work. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between the person and therapist plays a central role in healing. The sessions I conduct focus on empathy, kindness, and attentive listening, centering on people’s stories and providing an environment for individuals to feel safe. One can be kind to family, friends, and even strangers, and I believe that each person is a valuable human being that deserves to be treated with kindness; this includes self-kindness. I hope to be the person to guide others in their journey to heal.
