Manny Diaz (pronouns: he/him/his/él) is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) in California. Manny’s clinical specialties include working with LGBTQ+ (lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender-queer) and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) populations alongside applying principles of sex therapy. He operates using an intersectional and anti-oppressive counseling framework that includes working with clients primarily on gender and sexual minority topics, racial and social justice issues, and helping them explore and navigate diverse sexual relationships and subcultures among other related clinical concerns. He is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat Late Life Depression with clients aged 60+, has completed training in Anti-Racism Counseling, and has experience facilitating a Sex and Body Positive counseling support group. Providing clients with an affirming and safe space to explore their presenting concerns, social identities, and relationships is a priority for him.
