My name is Mandy and I am a license mental health counselor (LMHC). I earned my B.A. in psychology from Fresno Pacific University in 2016 and my M.A. in counseling from Ball State University in 2018. I have the most experience working with children, teens, and families on issues related to parenting, behavioral problems, issues of addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and interpersonal issues. I also have experience with perinatal mental health clients and perinatal addictions recovery clients working through issues of post-partum depression, trauma, issues of addiction, grief and loss, and parenting. I take a particular interest in helping children and teens build strong attachments to their primary caregivers and work through trauma through an attachment based lens.

In addition to my work on Find A Therapist, I currently work at a local community mental health center as a licensed mental health counselor. In this capacity, I provide group, individual, and family therapy for addictions recovery clients, family and individual therapy for children ages 0 to 18, and provide emergency assessment and suicide intervention services for local community schools.
