Hello, I am Magali Moreno, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with 7 years of experience providing therapy to individual adults, children, families, and couples. I am bilingual and am fluent in Spanish. I earned my Bachelors degree in Sociology from California State University, Fresno. Having this degree allows me to be able to look at complex issues faced by clients through a systems approach. I earned my Masters's degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University, Fresno. I have provided therapy services in the school settings (K-12), as well as in the office and community settings. I am a caring and empathetic therapist, with a strong ability to connect and understand others. I have vast experience in working with individuals to navigate and improve familial relationships and an understanding of family dynamics. I have experience in working with clients utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to improve functioning. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, and working side by side to overcome traumas and barriers. I specialize in addressing depression, anxiety, navigating interpersonal relationships, and utilizing mindfulness techniques and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
