Everyone has a story that shapes their life in many ways. It can be difficult to open up to a stranger about what is going on in your life, but it can also be very liberating to have another person to share your burdens. Whether for depression, anxiety, trauma or adjusting to life's challenges (and our changing world), counseling can offer insight and healing. It is a great privilege and joy for me to provide that space for people.
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I believe in creating a counseling environment that fosters a client’s ability to direct their own healing. I do this through building a trusting relationship where we can together explore and challenge issues.
My therapy style is eclectic and client-centered. I bring in warmth, humor and, when needed, directness.
