You will need to complete this setup in order to confirm your appointment.*** Mae-Lin Yu Mendoza is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas (since July 2012). Her experience includes facilitating family and group therapy within an inpatient psychiatric facility. She specializes in seeing individuals who are struggling with depression and anxiety, bipolar disorders, couples therapy, grief and loss, sexual abuse, behavioral problems and career transitions. She has spoken on topics ranging from parenting to caregiving, and the work-related stress. Ms. Mendoza utilizes cognitive-behavioral, insight-oriented therapy, and when appropriate, play therapy for children. She is EMDR-trained in which the technique can be utilized either in-person or virtually. Ms. Mendoza can provide a faith-based approach that may promote healing for her clients. Clients can count on having the coping tools to alleviate emotional dysregulation and have a balanced presentation in making informed decisions in life.
