About

My name is Madilynn Szoboszlay and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in southwestern Montana. I specialize in treating anxiety, depressive, and trauma disorders through a variety of therapeutic modalities to empower my clients to take charge of their mental health, make meaningful changes, and live the life they were made for. My approach Just as each person seeks therapy for a unique reason, I believe that the way I provide therapy should be adjusted based on the needs and preferences of the client. I frequently use Person-Centered Therapy alongside other modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Christian Counseling, to partner with clients in their therapeutic journey, empowering them to take charge of their mental health as the experts of their lives; identify areas of growth and make meaningful changes; and live the life they were made for, where they have the skills and support to accomplish their goals and experience healing. My focus People don’t exist within a vacuum, and neither does our mental health. Using a person-in-environment perspective, I help my clients explore areas of their lives, such as work and relationships, that are supporting or straining their mental health so that they can begin to make meaningful changes in their lives. I also offer Christian Counseling for clients who want to integrate their faith with their treatment. My communication style My communication style is energetic, compassionate, and personable. I want my clients to feel safe and supported when they are with me, and I am thankful for my ability to quickly build rapport with clients, which is the foundation of the therapeutic work that we do together. My journey to mental healthcare I have always had a passion for helping people and have been blessed with many opportunities to serve others, from going on service trips in school to working as a therapist in a rural, underserved community.
