Hi! My name is Madeleine, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I believe that therapy is a safe space for growth and development and challenging negativity. Therapy is profoundly personal and should be tailored to meet clients’ individual needs. As a natural empath, I strive to meet my clients where they are in their lives and assist them in navigating towards positive development and attainment of their personal goals.

I've been practicing counseling since 2019 through in-school practicum and internships. I obtained my LPC Associate license in 2019 and received full licensure in 2021. She has experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use throughout training internships and beginning licensure internships, and have worked with clients of all ages and from all walks of life.

I hold a Dual Certification in Trauma and Shame-Informed Care (CCPT and CSTS). My clinical training includes various theoretical techniques, including Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-focused Counseling. She has experience with Mental Health First Aid, safeTALK (suicide prevention and awareness training), and Co-Occurring Psychiatric Substance Use Disorders (COPSD).
I graduated with honors from Lamar University with her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health with a Minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston.
