I am both a licensed therapist and professor at Pepperdine University specializing in teens, young adults, and new moms. I’m known in the community to work primarily as a teen therapist in the South Bay. I help teens communicate their feelings starting from a young age and work with parents to facilitate a healthy, loving relationship. As a new mom myself, I have a strong passion to assist as a new mom therapist in the transitional process of starting a family while still feeling a sense of autonomy and connection with yourself. I like to take a holistic and nonjudgmental approach to counseling using a Humanistic/Child-Centered theory. This means I strongly believe in meeting the person where they are and working with the family to help develop a strong foundation of communication and understanding. I am currently working virtually with teens, new moms and parents to provide as much support as possible. There has been a huge influx of families needing services in the past couple years. My team works diligently to provide everything possible to make this transition back to normal life happier for children and parents.
