It takes courage to seek out help and find the right therapist. I want to become your new therapist because I believe in you. I will be here to support and empower your new life journey using clinical therapy. I know about dreams and in becoming who you are meant to be. My vocational dream started in 1970, I wanted to become a Clinical Mental Health Therapist. However, I was not able to accomplished this dream until I retired in 2010. In 2013, I graduated from Governors State University with a Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In the last 10 years, I became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC, earned a certification in Domestic Violence as a Certified Domestic Violence Professional (CDVP) and another certification in Alcohol and Drug Abuse as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I have worked in non-for-profit organizations in Chicago, Homewood, and Joliet. My clinical work is with teenagers and adults experiencing PTSD, General Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Grief, Domestic Violence relationships, and Alcohol and Drug Addictions. I provide individual and couples therapy. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion. I am committed in working with my clients to help them reach their self-empowerment.
