About

Carl Rogers wrote, “when I have been listened to and heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new way and go on.” As your therapist, I am committed to creating a partnership based on trust, compassion, acceptance and mutual respect. In our work together, my goal is to provide a safe space for you to reflect, gain insight into the origins of your challenges and learn practical skills to help you overcome them so you can feel better and live your life more fully. I also believe deeply in the mental health benefits of exercise, nutrition, mindfulness meditation, journaling and seeking out creative sources of passion and joy in one’s life. I am excited about the TEAM Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach as it provides a collaborative framework for conducting evidence-based therapy offering a multitude of tools to combat symptoms and challenges and help you reach your goals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Connecticut and received my MA in Psychological Counseling, and my EdM in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. I have experience in individual, group and teletherapy settings working with clients aged 16 years and older seeking support for anxiety, stress, depression, disordered eating, body image, grief, relationship/family difficulties, LGBTQ issues, substance use and self-esteem issues. I am also trained in multicultural counseling which understands how our client’s experiences are shaped by their unique identities (race, culture, ethnicity, SES, family structure, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, etc.). I am also certified in TEAM-CBT, Level 3. Courage involves vulnerability and I applaud you for taking this first step on the path to feeling good again. It would be my privilege to move forward together with you in this work.
