I am a child and family therapist. Most of my work in the last 11 years has been with children and parenting. I also have a background in substance abuse.
My Bachelor degree is in psychology graduating Summa Cum Laude. My Masters is in educational counseling and psychology graduating as the distinguished graduate. Both from Eastern Illinois University. I am all but dissertation in a program for a PhD in Clinical Psychology . I have worked a number of cases where Child Protective Services were involved and a number of divorce and custody cases. I work well with the court system and have appeared as a friend of the court, an expert witness, and as a therapist.
I have a certificate in Christian counseling, and I am catholic. I have done some Christian counseling as part of the churches RCIA program.
I have lived in Roswell NM for 21 years and love the desert climate. I live with my dog Meme a 6 year old Doberman who thinks she is a lap dog.
I enjoy reading, coloring, cooking and playing with my dog. I have a daughter and son and 3 grandchildren that live in Montana. My 11 year old granddaughter does dressage. My 8 year old grandson likes to take and send me pictures of his Lego creations. My 5 year old grandson is shy and only says hi and tells me what new toy he has. We talk almost every day.
