Therapeutic change starts with building a relationship. During the counseling process I will strive to provide an inviting, relaxed environment encouraging you to discover your inner strength, resources, and resilience. I will encourage and challenge you to develop steps toward achieving long-term change and increased adaptability.

Based on your individual needs, I will employ various approaches to therapy helping you to explore personal values and internal strengths, build self-esteem and self-love, and form healthy human connections. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, women's issues, and relationship issues. Depending on your individual set of strengths and circumstances, we will work together to move toward the changes you seek to apply to your life. My name is Lynette Carte, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University and a bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University in Education. I have over 12 years of experience counseling individually as well as in group settings.
