My name is Lydian Bowley. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut. I have over 10 years working in mental health. I have practiced in multiple settings including residential, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and in-home. This means that I have experience working with a broad range and severity of clinical issues. I have worked with clients experiencing concerns including depression, anxiety, self harm, trauma, abuse, anger, blended and adopted family concerns, parenting struggles, and substance abuse.

My counseling style is based in mutual respect, collaboration, and understanding. I help my clients find the solutions to their struggles rather than just providing answers. You are the expert in your life, I am here to help support and guide your work. Together we will determine your therapeutic goals and will tailor our time together to ensure progress towards them. I will always be direct, transparent, and honest with my communication because that is what you deserve.
