Hello, I'm Luisa, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida with a genuine compassion for helping people. I have an Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology and have over 20 years of experience working with a diverse population, including adults, teens, and children. My experience has been with both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings. I have also spent several years working in conjunction with school systems in treating clients. I am grounded in cognitive behavioral approaches, with an emphasis on mindfulness. I use a holistic approach in treating individuals, as I strongly believe the process of healing is within all of us. Sometimes we just need some guidance and tailored individual approaches to get there.
