About

Hello, My name Louis Jumonville, I am Psychotherapist, Aikido Sensei and Mantra Meditation teacher who works with adults helping them gain skill to manage troubling thoughts, difficult emotions, painful memories, relationship issues, and unresolved trauma, so they can experience life more fully, create the changes they want, and follow their dreams, enjoy better communication and relationships. For over thirty years, I have been working the field of therapy in a wide variety of environments, private practice, as a Child Welfare Emergency Response worker, as a team leader in Outpatient County Mental Health, a yoga, meditation and mantra teacher, and as a Aikido teacher. In each of these roles I provide a warm supportive environment as I work with clients and students, and help of each of them, with their unique set of strengths and challenges, find ways to heal from pain, and gain skills in managing their thoughts, and emotion. I treat the whole person and utilize somatic process, movement and breath, and also specialize in anxiety and depression with mindfulness and mantra meditation. My clients find that our work together helps them to improve their self-esteem, gain better communication, and improve their relationships and outlook on life. We are living in difficult times, amidst great change and unrest. Reaching out for support and help at some time in life can be life changing. I know I have been through it too. I am looking forward to meeting you to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
