Congratulations on making it this far in your therapy journey! I look forward to working with you. My name is Lorraine and I’ve been a Therapist since 1994. I love being a Therapist, enjoy swimming, and cooking.. I’m a Mom of 2, Grandma of 1 and have two rescue cats. I worked for a major organization providing therapy to groups, and individuals, and supervising other therapists for 21 years . I graduated with honors, have a Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work in which I am at the most advanced standing level. My true passion for our fellow human beings and the belief that we can work together to make a difference has brought success with patients and a long history of positive outcomes. I still have clients contacting me just to say thank you. This is a very rewarding field to be in. We will work together to get you to you where you would like to be in your life. Our first step is for me to listen to what is going on in your life, talk together about some of your goals, and work with you in accomplishing them. I work eclectically meaning I use different approaches and am trained in numerous modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfullness, Guided Imagery, Visualization, Seeking Safety, Interpersonal Therapy for Depression, Positive Psychology, Anger Management, and Motivational Interviewing. I work with families, couples, and individuals with a range of presenting issues be it support and validation for your journey, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Abuse, Trauma, Substance Use Disorder, family issues, and Marital Counseling.
