Lori Thompson, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor offering services to adolescent and adults. She has a wide range of clinical interests; however, her specializations are anxiety disorders, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, relationship counseling, stress management, trauma and abuse. Lori’s philosophy of care is that therapy is an opportunity to explore – she helps patients walk through rough patches, point out things in their journey that they may not have noticed and give them tools to move forward on their own. Lori’s career in mental health care has been a life-long calling. She finds it gratifying to see people find their own strength and grow. Lori plays the piano and violin, and studied martial arts for 15 years.
