Presently, Lori is licensed as a psychotherapist in both Florida (LMHC) and New Hampshire (LCMHC). After spending more than 11 years in Florida, Lori returned for a stint back in New Hampshire. Now, once again Lori is in Florida. She is providing telemental health services to a limited number of clients in New Hampshire via a HIPA compliant portal. Lori Olson's life path has led her to have a wide variety of experiences; these have included providing therapeutic interventions through community mental health agencies in Florida, being part of a private Christ-centered counseling practice in downtown Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte, Florida, and also the CEO of an online marketing firm. Additionally, Lori has worked with incarcerated juveniles, adolescents with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders at a residential facility and has led many therapeutic groups (e.g. cancer support, art therapy, depression, anxiety, and grief). The aim of Lori's book, "How to be a Caregiver for an Aging Parent with Dementia", is to emphasize the importance of maintaining dignity and quality of life during the very intense trials presented by dementia; it is currently available in the Kindle format on Amazon and will soon be available as a paperback. Lori's other book "The Good Parent Workbook: proven parenting tips to prevent and address anxiety in children" is also available on Amazon. Lori has also written many health and wellness articles and reports which appear across the internet. Additionally, 1000s of articles on health, travel, parenting, and how-to topics were created by Lori’s marketing staff for online consumption; including the Therapy in a Nutshell Guide: "How to Be More Social and Outgoing".
