Hello, my name is Lori Gieseler and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Louisiana with over 20 years experience working with individuals, families and couples. I graduated with my MSW in 1985 from LSU and have worked in many clinical settings since. I am a committed and empathetic therapist with a passion for helping individuals who are in pain, depressed or anxious. Life is not supposed to hurt. The purpose in my career is to work with individuals who desire to implement positive changes in themselves and their lives. I use CBT, DBT, solution focus and betrayal therapies to work with trauma, infidelities, spouses of sex addicts, depression and anxiety. Reaching out for help is a difficult thing to do but you don’t need to be on your journey to happiness by yourself. In fact, you have probably reached the point of needing guidance and support from others. Let me be that person for you. I will meet with you, complete an assessment and develop a treatment plan in a caring and non-judgmental way. Believe in yourself, reach out and let’s begin this work together.
