Hello! My name is Lori and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with approximately three years of experience providing counseling services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient care, crises, and as a behavioral health consultant for a family practice. I provide both brief solution focused therapy and long term counseling therapy to clients. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and grief. I primarily work with clients (male and female) between 18 and 65 years old. I will also work with couples (straight, gay, lesbian) to improve their communication, trust and overall health of their relationship.

My approach to therapy is client centered utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused modalities in the counseling process. Clients are the experts on their lives and determine the direction and depth of their therapy. In drawing on multiple treatment modalities, clients are guided in identifying strengths and developing individual treatment plans to help clients accomplish their goals. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
