I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing particularly in working with individuals facing depression and anxiety. I have received specialized training in Hypnotherapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, mindfulness inspired practices including help with body and diet challenges utilizing the technique of Mindfulness Based Eating as well as evidence based mind-body techniques such as breathing exercises and guided relaxation. I

Life is precious and change is possible, in fact inevitable. When the world throws at us the seemingly unbearable, it is in our response that we can find the potential for growth and freedom. Therapy allows for a pause in the midst of it all, to take a step back in order to take a closer look and move in the direction of self-compassion, happiness and fulfillment. My experience of over 25 years teaching and practicing yoga/meditation is seamlessly integrated into my therapeutic approach and philosophy through the blending of Eastern mindfulness based approaches and Western cognitive psychology.

My emphasis is on listening and understanding first, only then can we we truly work collaboratively.
