She specialized in providing clinical support to clients who struggled with historical trauma, and the impact trauma has had on the community. In addition, Loni has worked as a clinical supervisor mentoring new therapists in the ever-growing and changing profession. Currently, Loni works with Military service members and their families. She is considered a subject matter expert to the families as they struggle with deployments, relocations, and the military lifestyle’s vast stressors. With numerous areas of expertise based on over 30 years of clinical experience, her work includes treating symptoms of depression and anxiety and working with couples and families. Loni specializes in trauma and the effects of how trauma manifests in the body and the overall psyche. Much of couple’s therapy circles around discussions on how early attachment templates develop and “get played out in current and past relationships.” Admired as an overall skilled individual and couple’s therapist, Loni specializes in looking through the lens of attachment theory. As a clinical member of CAMFT and a Clinical Supervisor through AAMFT, Loni has maintained a private practice throughout her career. In addition to her extensive therapeutic professional history, Loni has the privilege of uniting couples in nuptial celebrations. For Loni, it is a distinct honor to be part of such a significant celebration of love when joining two individuals who choose to be devoted to each other in life and marriage.
