About
I have been a therapist for over 30 years at Mount Sinai Medical Center working with adolescents and young adults in a primary care hospital or in school based health center in mental health services including psychotherapy, primary care social work, family treatment, crisis intervention and care coordination services. I work with adolescents between ages 13-24 who are experiencing depression, anxiety, sudden life changes, family issues, academic challenges, and peer issues. . In my practice I use skill building through CBT, DBT, mindfulness and coping skills tp help adolescents manage their feelings and thoughts so that they can verbalize and have both action and processing skill set to deal with current situation.
