About

I am a licensed clinical social worker based in the Kansas City area with over 15 years of experience working closely with women and mothers and the issues that affect them including: depression, addictions, PTSD and trauma, self-esteem, codependency and relationship issues. It is my honor to assist women in finding their own voice and life path when they feel overwhelmed or burdened by the competing needs for their time and energies. Additionally, I specialize in working with the LGBTQ community and all of the issues and concerns that affect us as a marginalized population.
My personal belief and experience shows me that my clients are the absolute expert on themselves, and truly hold many of the answers they are seeking already. I see my role as that of a facilitator, listener, and advocate with the understanding that being allowed to speak our truth out loud brings freedom and needed change. My style comes from this place and so I approach each session from a place of respect and ready to listen to you. I have really heard it all and nothing you say will shock, scare or bother me. I am not here to judge you but to support you living in your highest truth in a way that feels honest, authentic and right for you.
