Everyone wants an emotionally connected and happy life; however, achieving it can feel impossible at times. My passion is working with adult survivors of trauma, neglect, abandonment, abuse, and traumatic events, and my training is focused solely on supporting trauma survivors. Our sessions move at a pace that is right for you, and I offer a safe, calm environment. I am trained in trauma informed counseling approaches, including Attachment Theory, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experience Therapy, and Dialectical- Behavioral Therapy.

My specialties include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Experience Therapy, and Dialectical- Behavioral Therapy; additionally, I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment Theory. While I currently hold a master’s degree, I am also in the process of completing a doctorate in clinical psychology.

My career in mental health began in 2007, and I have over 14 years of experience working with individuals, couples/ relationships, and families. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I work with adult survivors of trauma and abuse as well as adults experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

My sessions are structured but relaxed, so counseling always feels comfortable and safe. Throughout the counseling process, I provide opportunities for you to practice new skills in session. We work together to make the necessary changes to help you find happiness.
