I am a Licensed Therapist with 11 years of clinical experience and work with clients of all ages, to assist them in processing their emotions by providing individualized, client-centered therapy aimed at relieving distress, building resilience, improving self-esteem and ultimately improving lives. I incorporate modeling and role-play; as well as provide reinforcement strategies and utilize a variety of interventions and therapeutic modalities. As I understand that no single approach is right for every individual, I work to meet the client where they are and therefore, I am trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy; Compassion Focused; Dialectical Behavior Therapy; Family Systems Therapy; Person-Centered Therapy; Solution-Focused and Strength-Based Therapies to name a few. I am sensitive to my client’s needs and differences and have a deep commitment to the clients I work with, as well as their families. I believe in fostering an atmosphere of trust and support while maintaining a dedication to overcoming obstacles to ensure the safety and well-being of my clients. I have worked with clients of different sexual orientations, gender identities, various religious and spiritual beliefs as well as a variety of racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. It is my mission to help clients and their families work through life’s challenges that cause difficulties in the areas of academic, behavioral, social and emotional by practicing the “Relentless Pursuit of whatever works in the Life of my clients whether that be a Child, Adolescent or Adult”.
