I am a licensed, independent clinical social worker in the state of FL , MA and CT. I have over 25 years of experience working with clients and their families in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Many of my clients had difficulties with anxiety/panic, depression, relationship/family difficulties, substance abuse or anger management issues. I also have an expertise working with aging and geriatric issues, caregiver stress and challenges, as well as concentration and memory difficulties.
Reaching out for counseling help can feel scary and intimidating. I always strive to offer a counseling environment in which my clients can feel supported, connected and heard. My approach to counseling always starts with getting a better understanding of my client's concerns, symptoms and/or challenges as well as what their goals and hopes are for our work together. I mainly practice from cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and solution focused therapy.
