I'm a retired public school teacher and school counselor. While my time in the school system is done my passion for young people and families isn't. I have been a licensed therapist since 2018. My specialty has evolved into effective communication. I have been trained in Mindfulness meditation, Trauma informed Care snd Mental health first aid. My current clients have shared that one of the features of our relationship that they like most is my more active role in the process. Unlike some therapists, it is very unlikely that I will just smile and nod. ?? I often characterized my practice style as more like life coaching.
