Lisa Manery earned her master’s degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a licensed clinical social worker in both Idaho and Oregon. Over the past 23 years she has helped people in different ways. She has worked as a counselor treating mood disorders, infertility, post-partum depression among other issues. She has also worked in the field of adoption with birth mothers and adoptive couples. She was able to spend 10 years working in the family maternity center at a local hospital. While there, she learned to appreciate the many challenges facing women in all areas of their lives.
