Welcome! My name is Lisa Carnicelli, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping people reach their optimal potential for wellness. I earned my Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services and then continued on to earn my Certificate of Advanced Study in Counseling and Psychological Services. I have been counseling for over 15 years in non for profit, private, and college settings. My experiences have afforded me the opportunity to work with children, families, couples, and individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress, family/parenting issues, self esteem issues, abuse, relationship issues and more. It has been an honor to work with wonderful people searching for some assistance and guidance. Living in today's society can be challenging at times, and we all need a little extra help from time to time. I want to help you on your path toward leading the life you envision. My counseling techniques are eclectic in nature, however, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Therapy as my focus to help you attain the results you desire. I believe that building a positive relationship with my clients in a safe and non judgmental manner is the key to helping my clients become self aware of the issues concerning them. Once we create this awareness, we can begin to work on problem solving through these concerns.
