About

I am a clinical social worker with over 20 years experience working with an array of mental health concerns, including depression and anxiety. I have worked in emergency rooms, as a shift manager at a crisis hotline, psychiatric hospital units, medical clinics, and ran my own private practice.

I believe everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, and counseling is a partnership to achieving your goals. I view my role as helping one understand themselves, and help identify choices and options to reach goals and move forward. The modality that I use the most in counseling is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but will also use skills from other modalities, including Psychodynamic Theory, DBT, and Acceptance Therapy.
