About

I am a therapist licensed in the state of Vermont and have worked for over 15 years in counseling. I have vast experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life adjustments. I have many years of experience working with individuals, couples , families, and teens. My training has been in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with a primary focus for the treatment of trauma in adults and adolescents. In addition to CBT, I utilize approaches to include dialectical behavior therapy , existential, client centered, and motivational interviewing. I have a specialized training in pastoral counseling for faith based clients seeking counseling. Lastly, in addition to being a counselor, I have been an educator for over 25 years and am well versed in consulting with educational school systems to assist in mental health practices, classroom interventions for at risk students and family interventions/support.

My approach is welcoming and warm for all my clients. It takes an incredible amount of courage to come to therapy and want to make changes for one's greater good. I am here to support you in this journey and help you become the better version of yourself as well as alleviate the pain that comes with emotional and psychological distress. Therapy is not for the faint of heart and I cannot promise it will be easy, but I can assure you that it will be well worth it when you are living freer, lighter, and more fulfilled.
