Hello, my name is Lisa Kozlowski. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I care about my clients and want to see them enjoy their life. You will receive an empathic straight forward therapy. You want understanding and healing? I am here to help you receive it. I can’t make you have it, but I will guide and teach you how to have it, but only you can do the work, and it takes practice. My approach As an LCSW I am holistic in my approach. We are more than bodies with feelings. We are mind, body and spirit. My theoretical approach depends on your needs. There is no "one size fits all." Therapy is designed to help discover new ways of understanding ourself, life, our blind spots, and provide new ways of thinking. It is rewiring the old to have the new. I will address your concerns about your life and the feelings you are having or not having. My focus As a therapist I work with many different symptoms and diagnoses associated with emotional discomfort, discontent, substance abuse, CPS, traumas, PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger, burn out, marriage struggles, and what it means to be a parent and more; My communication style As a therapist, I continue to learn and expand my understanding of neuroscience. I love to discover and implement different techniques and insights into making or having the best therapeutic experience you can have. I am eclectic in my practice as I believe one thing does not fit everybody. However, there is one thing that is true for everybody, that is how you think drives how you feel. There is scientific evidence for this fact, come and find out. My journey to mental healthcare I have been a substance abuse counselor, worked for CPS, and as a therapist (private and county). We all have things we can improve on in our lives. The one thing rings true for all human race we all long for acceptance and unconditional love. It is built inside everyone, and much more.
