I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I graduated with a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, and have completed advanced training in Trauma Incident Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, substance addictions, and the treatment of domestic violence survivors. I have significant experience treating clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, and career concerns. In addition, I am an LGBTQ-ally and have work with many members of this community.

I enjoy people, and I receive great satisfaction in helping them find solutions to life problems while achieving personal growth. To me, therapy is as simple as that. In my previous work as a human resources leader and now, as a therapist, my goal has been building lasting relationships. I approach a new client with the same vigor that a zoologist might devote to a newly discovered species. I want to know who you are, what excites you, and who you love. Clients have described me as someone who is open and honest and who loves to learn and laugh.

My approach to therapy is empathetic and collaborative. I want to learn about you as a whole person rather than focusing only on diagnoses. I see my clients as key partners in the therapeutic process. Making the decision to pursue therapy is a daunting task for many people.
