Life with purpose and peace. My goal is to help you move forward in your life. My name is Lisa Guerra, MA, LPC a counselor in Texas. Congratulations on taking the first step towards self-care. Counseling is a beautiful way to care for yourself. You are important, and the areas you are struggling in deserve time and attention. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based therapy that looks at our Thoughts, Behaviors, and Actions, and Gottman Method is used to help marriages find hope and healing.

Teens need to be heard, they need someone usually that isn't a family member to hear them. My goal is to help them find their confidence in spite of the social media world. Teens can feel confused about the future, I will help them and you as their parents move towards well-being.

Although Find A Therapist is not a place for immediate crisis care, I have experience recognizing issues that lead to crisis. I worked as a paramedic for 20 years and have experience in issues common to first responders.
