Hello and welcome! My name is Lisa and my role as your therapist is to listen, validate, and support you throughout our time together. I am licensed in Washington with 10 years of experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence, depression, parenting challenges, relationship problems, and adjusting to life changes. The focus of my work is establishing a strong therapeutic relationship as a foundation. Not only will a good connection help lead to the best outcomes, but I recognize that reaching out for help and trusting someone with your story is a courageous, and difficult first step towards change.

I will help you find your strengths as well as help you identify areas where you would like to change or improve upon. Together, we will set goals specific to what you need in your current situation, by gaining a deeper understanding of your personal story. Everyone is deserving of a fulfilling life, but so often, our experiences and inner dialogue can get in the way of that. My style is warm, supportive, and through a trauma-informed lens. I will often incorporate a variety of other therapeutic approaches whenever appropriate which can include Motivational Interviewing techniques, Art Therapy approaches, Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques, Mindfulness techniques, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques.
