Hi my name is Lindy Kadish, I am a licensed mental health counselor and have been in the field for five years. My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in trauma informed care and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a mindfulness and change based treatment. Through this approach I balance self-acceptance with encouraging clients to make meaningful changes that will ultimately bring them emotional freedom and more control over their lives. My goal is to support you along your journey in a way that honors where you are presently and your vision for the future.

In addition to using DBT, I am also trained in EMDR therapy which I utilize with clients that are looking to process stressful or traumatic experiences. I have found that most people can recall some life event whether from childhood or more recently in their life that has left a major emotional or somatic impact. EMDR is one way to process these traumas (big or small) to release oneself from the burden of emotional suffering.

Lastly, I have been trained under the Global Education Initiative by The World Professional Association for Transgender Health and offer Gender Affirming Therapy. Assisting individuals of all genders to feel in harmony with their authentic self is one of the most rewarding parts of my job and something I am very passionate about.
