The stories we tell ourselves matter. They are what make up our lives. Each person has a unique story worth exploring, full of struggles and triumphs. Empowering you to mold your story into whatever you want it to be gives me meaning.


I am a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia with 3 years of professional work experience. For my graduate program, I attended Case Western Reserve University. I have experience working with pediatric, adult and geriatric populations in school, community and healthcare settings. These clients have dealt with depression, anxiety and stress, self-esteem and confidence issues, as well as grief and loss.


My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which allows us to better understand the connection between our thoughts, emotions and behaviors and begin to challenge unhelpful ways of thinking. Solutions-focused brief therapy (SFBT) is another approach that I find helpful for clients that is strengths-based, and as implied in its name, relatively brief. I am person-centered and collaborative. I also believe in the power of presence and mindfulness. Let’s get started on reauthoring the story that is your life.
