I am licensed in New York with several years of professional work experience. I have assisted clients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them cope with life changes, stress and family disruption. I have experience helping people learn new coping skills to reduce the symptoms associated with depression, anxiety and to enhance their self-esteem. I have worked with people with developmental disabilities, such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy, as well as those with intellectual disabilities. I am also skilled in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans to facilitate healthy behaviors. My theoretical orientation stems from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and a Person Centered approach.
