About
My name is Lindsay and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in professional mental health counseling. I earned this degree through in-person studies. I would describe myself as nurturing, empathetic, and open-minded. I am a proud wife and mom and believe these roles enrich my knowledge and perspective as a counselor. I have over ten years of experience working in the field of mental health, with over six of those being specific to clinical counseling. I have worked in several types of settings and with clients experiencing a wide variety of difficulties. My approach to counseling is client-centered, in that I believe wholeheartedly in the power of offering my clients empathy, unconditional positive regard, and freedom from judgment. I believe in tailoring my approach to each individual, couple, or family with whom I work.
