About

As a therapist, I provide a safe space for you to explore your potential, heal from past wounds, better manage stressors, and develop an actionable plan to work towards the goals you wish to pursue. I work with adults, adolescents and children as young as 8 years old and specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, work injuries, anger issues, parenting challenges, or who are coping with relational, medical, and/or life stressors. I earned my Bachelor's degree in psychology, premedical with a minor in Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998 and later obtained my Master's of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health and a Certificate in Gerontology, also from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002. I have a Behavioral Health certificate specific to Serving Our Veterans and specialize in working with active-duty military and veterans of all ages.
