About

Hello! My name is Justine Baltrus, LMFT #132018. I have been practicing therapy for 10 years. I focus on helping clients overcome barriers, and learn new skills to address their goals in life. My approach I have a client-centered approach in therapy as I have come to understand that everyone's life, and circumstances are different. I believe in meeting clients where they are at in life. My focus I have primarily worked with clients who live with severe and persistent mental illness. I am accustomed to working with clients who live with depression and anxiety. My communication style I have learned that clients are comfortable working with me as I offer a non-judgmental environment to work in. My journey to mental healthcare As a young adult, I have always known that I've wanted to work with people, and help them become the best versions of themselves. I've learned through my practice that many people experience mental health symptoms, which ultimately affect their familial, social, and/or occupational functioning; this oftentimes can be frustrating and may lead people to feel like they're alone. My goal in therapy is to help determine and acknowledge these barriers, and help clients reach their goals. My goals for you I assess for goals by asking what they would like to achieve in therapy. My first session with you Clients should expect a brief introduction, a discussion of limits of confidentiality, and intake questions in order for therapeutic services to start in the following sessions.
