I am a New York State Certified School Psychologist, a Connecticut State Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. Having worked in the mental health field for over 35 years and in the school counseling field for 19 years, I work especially well with children and adolescents providing individual, family and group counseling. I also enjoy providing couples counseling. I am a commissioned minister of pastoral care-- licensed by Experience Ministries. I have my Ph.D in Clinical Christian Counseling from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. I am also a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor(L.C.P.C) and Certified Temperament Counselor (CTC) through the National Christian Counselor's Association (NCCA).

My areas of specialization include the following areas: child and adolescent issues, anxiety, depression, grief recovery, behavioral modification, parenting, single parenting, crisis intervention, Christian counseling, dialectical and cognitive behavior therapy, solution focused, trauma-informed, behavioral management.

I provide the modalities of: individual, group and family, and couples counseling. I serve children, teens, and adults.

My focus as a counselor is to provide children/teens ongoing social skill development in the areas of: communication, coping strategies, friendship skills and decision making. I work well with students with ADHD, Autism and depression/anxiety. I specialize in dialectical and behavior therapy and cognitive therapy. I use faith based practices and integrate my faith with clinical counseling interventions that are evidenced based to provide healing to the whole person.
